Guests arriving by car will disembark the ferry at either the Stari Grad or the Sućuraj terminal and follow well-marked roads to Jelsa.
To drive from the Stari Grad ferry port, turn left from the terminal onto D116 and travel 9km east toward Jelsa. Take the first left turn after the petrol station (you will see signs for the hospital) and follow the road for 1km to Villa Vista Apartments, located on your right, where your free on-site guest parking is waiting for you. To drive from the Sućuraj ferry port, travel 52km northwest toward Jelsa, continuing past the exits in to Jelsa. Watch for the yellow sign indicating the intersection of Vrisnik/ Svirče /Vrbanj to the left and Jelsa to the right and continue straight through (toward Hvar/Stari Grad/Vrboska) for 200m, then take the first right turn (you will see signs for the hospital) and follow the road for 1km to Villa Vista Apartments, located on your right, where your free on-site guest parking is waiting for you. Jadrolinija ferries and catamarans provide service to and from various ports on the Island of Hvar. Visitors with motorized vehicles will use ferry service from Split to Stari Grad or from Drvenik to Sućuraj and follow well marked roads to Jelsa.
Guests without their own motorized transport can travel from Split to Jelsa via catamaran or to Stari Grad via ferry where local bus lines and taxi connections to Jelsa are available. For guests arriving directly in Jelsa, we are always happy to greet you at the terminal and assist you to your apartment. Villa Vista also offers pre-arranged shuttle service for guests arriving in Stari Grad. Please contact us for more information or to make travel arrangements.
